Waste collection: Christmas?New Year holiday plans

The following bin collection arrangements will operate over the Christmas / New Year period:

Public Holiday Collection

Monday 26th December 2011 As normal

Tuesday 27th December 2011 As normal

Monday 2nd January 2012 As normal

The brown bin collection service is suspended to Monday 26th March 2012.

Household Recycling Centres

Knock Road and Crosstagherty household recycling centres will be closed on –

Boxing Day Monday 26th December 2011

New Year Monday 2nd January 2012

And will have limited opening times on the following dates:

Saturday 24th December 2011 10.00am – 1.00pm

Tuesday 27th December 2011 10.00am – 4.00pm

Household recycling centres will be open as normal at all other times.

Crosstagherty Waste Handling & Transfer Facility

Facility will be closed to commercial customers on –

Boxing Day Monday 26th December 2011

Christmas Bank Holiday Tuesday 27th December 2011

New Year Monday 2nd January 2012

And will have limited opening time on the following date:

Friday 23rd December 2011 8.45am – 1.00pm

Street Cleansing

No street cleansing will be undertaken on Monday 26th December 2011.
