Waste leaflet for homes
A NEW Council leaflet, 'Managing Your Waste Made Easy', will be delivered to every Borough household.
This eight page comprehensive guide contains information on: reducing and Reusing Waste; Civic Amenity Sites – materials accepted and opening times; maximising the potential of blue bins – including the expanded range of acceptable materials; Community Recycling Centres in villages and supermarkets; managing garden and food waste; details of three projects Council has supported – Can Can Recycling, Ballymoney Nursery School’s Green Flag Award and Incredible Edible Cloughmills.
The news was revealed during a recent Health and Environmental Services Committee meeting.
