Andrea told those present that the garden, close to Council headquarters at Cloonavin, was an ‘everlasting memorial’ for little Roma, who tragically died outside her home back in 2009. Roma would have been ten this year.

Local families who had lost children gathered to view the garden that so many had fund raised for, and to view stars on a wall of remembrance with the names of their children that are no longer with us.

A short blessing was led by Fr Charles Keaney and Rev Dr Lee Glenny.
