Watch: Lauren donates hair in friends’ memory
Well done to Lauren Brennan, a brave young woman from the North West, who suffered a severe hair cut in Colum Cooke’s hairdressing salon on the Trench Road, in memory of her late friends Leah Whyte and Kathy Sheerin, who both passed away from cancer.
The sixteen-year-old Limavady Grammar school pupil has donated her hair to the Little Princess Trust who will use it to make a wig for a child who has lost their hair through cancer treatment.
It’s Lauren’s way of making a positive contribution to those affected by the disease.
To date Lauren’s managed to raise over £300 for the charity.
