Watch: Orange Order hold parade in Magherafelt to mark silver jubilee of ‘field opening’
Orangemen from the Magherafelt area took part in a parade through the town this evening to celebrate the 25th anniversary of the opening of the district’s demonstration field at Moneymore Road.
The ten lodges of Magherafelt District also held a service of re-dedication in the field which was opened in 1990.
The parade was headed by representatives from Grand Lodge, County and District officials with bannerettes from across Northern Ireland.
