The school has marked earth hour every year from it began in 2007 - pupils signed up to turn out lights for one hour on Saturday 28th March from 8.30 to 9.30 p.m.

To celebrate the event they wore bright clothes to school on Friday 27th. They were also supporting the #wearyellowforseth campaign. Five-year-old Seth Lane has no immune system and is waiting for a bone marrow transplant.

He appeared in a video asking people to wear yellow, his favourite colour and share their photographs online on Friday 27th March.

St. Colm’s posted pictures on the school Twitter account to show our support
