Waterfoot Lunch gets bigger
It was an even bigger success than last year with over 400 people attending throughout the day.
Chair or the group Johnny Mullholland said: “We are delighted everyone came along, this was all about bringing people together so that we can sit down and get to know each other better. You never know when you might need your neighbours so havng opportunities like this to make introductions and build new friendships is very important.

Guests included MLA Oliver McMullan and Alderman Maura Hickey The Mayor of Causeway Coast and Glens and Cllr Margaret Anne McKillop.
Speaking afterwards local resident Monica McLaughlin said: “The Mayor seemed genuinely impressed with how much we have achieved with so little and how we as a community are pulling together to provide opportunities locally.
“Groups and organisations including the Glens Red Squirrels, PSNI community safety partnership and Waste no Time were in attendance and special thanks to Supporting Communities, and all the local businesses who supported the event in any way. This year holiday makers attended the event and we even had someone from as far away as Canada join us.”
