“Only a matter of months ago I showcased this very successful indigenous firm’s business potential to the US Consul General Kamala Lakhdhir - in order to further develop trade links between Derry and the US and encourage investment and jobs here in the city.

"By growing skills and growing sales Niche Drinks have grown success even in these difficult economic times.

“They are succeeding in the current challenging economic environment because of the aptitude and attitude of its workforce as well as the quality of its management.

"Their success is evidence that Derry is a good place for business and that it can be a great base for growing in the global market."

Niche Drinks has been producing Cream Liqueurs retail partners in Ireland, the UK and Europe since 1983.

Additionally the firm works with multinational drinks companies keen to benefit from expertise to create brands for them to market and sell from Boston to Bangkok.

It says its continued success has been built upon an outstanding Technical System that offers full product traceability from a single defined cream source through to finished product either bottled or in bulk.
