Waterside Links Festival on Saturday

This weekend sees the return of the annual Waterside Links Festival on Saturday, July 19, from 12pm to 4pm at St Columb’s Park, Waterside Londonderry.

Garth Brooks tribute act, Jason Hughes, will be on stage

Headlining this year are the professional and outstanding band -The Hitmen, and the upcoming local band Foreign Owl.

There is also a host of local talent with salsa and Flamenco dancers and the Mandarin Choir making a return.

There will be over 20 different stalls to browse, nails technicians, birds of prey and this year, promoting healthy living and showing off his amazing skills will be Sha Martin, who will be holding workshops and opportunities to taste his delicious food.

A wide range of inflatibles for the young and laser tag game will be part of the active entertainment, while the Fire Brigade will be present with their fire truck, the police will be there with their cars/motorbikes, and there are also craft workshops running throughout the day.

Food will be available too.
