Waterside wind turbine
A SINGLE wind turbine with a maximum height of 110 metres is being considered by Derry City Council's planning committee.
Clondermot Wind Ltd applied for permission to build the turbine on land approximately 370 metres west of the Trench Road.
The proposal is for a single wind turbine up to 3MW capacity and maximum tip height of 110m, external equipment kiosk, upgrade of existing laneway, temporary hard standing, underground cabling and temporary site access. The application had been recommended for approval.
