Watton praises band on annual parade

The PUP man said: “I would like to congratulate the Freeman Memorial Band for their excellent parade in Coleraine last Friday.

“The parade, of no less than 73 bands, was the largest seen in town for years and was well marshalled and disciplined

throughout.

“Our thoughts and prayers are with the Bandmaster, Bryan Freeman who took unwell at the close of the parade.

“A special thanks must go to the PSNI for their prompt attention to Bryan, prior to the arrival of the ambulance.

“Hopefully Bryan will be restored to good health and will be able to take his place in a band, that is a credit to him and his country.”
