Watton speaks out about attack on Mayor’s home

Speaking this morning, after the DUP Mayor’s home was attacked for the fourth time, councillor Watton claimed that those responsible were ‘well known’ to him and the PSNI.

“These attacks are well timed and orchestrated by major players in the drug scene in Coleraine,” claimed the PUP man.

Councillor Watton said that he had raised the hate crime issue with the PSNI during a meeting three months ago.

“I would call on local communities to be vigilant and look out for each other.

“These sectarian attacks must end, and end now,” he said.
