Watton to host electoral event in Coleraine Library
PUP councillor Russell Watton is inviting readers to an electoral registration event in Coleraine Library on Wednesday March 2, from 4pm to 7.30pm.
The Coleraine councillor said: “There is huge Loyalist disillusionment in the political process. At the last Council election one of the largest estates in the area had a mere 35 percent turnout.
“There are thousands of ordinary working people in the Unionist community who are not registered to vote, or have stopped voting. I would appeal to anyone not registered to avail of this registration day.
“To register you will need to bring your National Insurance Number. Transport to and from the venue will be available.
“Remember no vote no voice, “ he concluded.
