WDCA says thank you to volunteers
Held in conjunction with The Little Green Allotments on Whitemountain Road, the guest star was none other than Santa Claus.
John Belshaw from WDCA commented: “WDCA is very grateful to the Lisburn & Castlereagh City Council (LCCC) Community fund for the support for not only this thank you event but also for their support to a number of events we have held this year.

“We are indebted to the Alpha Programme, Groundwork NI and LCCC for their support to that unique project.
“In addition to being open to anyone with an interest in art or the environment, over two hundred college students alone have visited the site on educational tours in the past three months alone.”
Other LCCC Community Grant projects have included a very successful Art Workshop in August and The Limestone Way ramble as part of BBC Children in Need weekend.
