We miss you Granny Taggart - message from Australia

A BALLYMONEY granny is our June winner of the Bouquet of the Month, thanks to her granddaughters living in Australia.

Jade and Dionne Dillon left the north coast and emigrated to Australia three years ago, however they still miss their Granny Margaret Taggart of Coleraine Road, everyday.

In an emotional email the girls explained: ‘Dear Ballymoney Times we would like to nominate our Granny Margret Taggart for the Bouquet of the Month.

‘Our family, Daddy John and Mummy Norma, emigrated to Cairns, Australia three years ago. Our granny has been out to see us on holidays but we still miss her very much.

‘She phones us every week to see how we are going and what we have been doing. She also misses us and loves us very much but worries about us to, especially when cyclone Yasi was coming.

‘It would also be very special for us to see a picture of granny in the paper as Nanna Agnes posts us the Ballymoney Times every week to Cairns. We love our granny very much and this would be special for us all.’

Special love and hugs to Margaret, Nanna Agnes and all the family were also sent from the Dillon family.

John added: ‘My wife Norma would especially love for her mum to get the Bouquet of the Month for all the support and love she has given us over the last three years.

‘Norma’s granny posts us Ballymoney Times ever week so even though we might be a few weeks behind we still see all that’s going on.

‘We all really miss all the family and send them all our love and hugs.’
