Wealthy North West cricket fans sought

CRICKET fans in the North West have the opportunity to get close to the world champions. Cricket Ireland and Cricket Australia came together to give one lucky person the chance to be the "twelfth man" and help the Irish Cricket set up financially in the process.

Australia's cricketers made a remarkable offer to help boost the finances of Cricket Ireland at the RSA Challenge one day international in Dublin later this month.

They invited invited Cricket Ireland to auction the position of “Twelfth man for the day” at the big game at Clontarf on June 17.

Wealthy cricket fans are sought to win the fantastic prize, with bids starting at 3,000 euros.

The winner will be provided with Australian kit to wear and keep and will travel to the match on the team coach. Throughout the match he will have full access to the Australian dressing room and viewing tent.
