Two addresses allegedly connected to Nash were searched after he was arrested. The butt of an AK47 was discovered in a drawer of a bedroom in one, while a rifle, a quantity of ammunition was found in the garage of the second address along with a silencer, a scope, balaclavas and gloves.

Nash was appearing in court via videolink.

The prosecutor said that investigations by police were ongoing and it was going to be at least eight weeks before the forensics came back.

He added that a full file for prosecution will take "much longer."

Nash will appear in court again via videolink on September 30.
