Weapons used in street brawl
POLICE are investigating after two groups of youths attacked each other with weapons in the Fairhill Street area last Monday afternoon.
There are reports that one youth was taken to hospital with a suspected broken arm. A police spokesperson said: "We are investigating reports of a dispute between two groups of youths on Monday afternoon and that offensive weapons were involved.
"No formal complaints of assault have been received at this stage, however, police are following definite lines of enquiry about other suspected offences."
