According to The Met Office, who have a yellow warning in place for the entire country, temperatures are set to fall sharply tomorrow with driving conditions becoming difficult in the early morning.

“Outbreaks of rain, with some sleet or snow on highest ground, will clear in the early hours of Thursday morning. Temperatures will then fall sharply leading to icy stretches on untreated roads. Sleet and snow showers will return later on Thursday morning. Please be aware of the potential for difficult travel conditions.”

They say snow is likely in the north west.

“In addition, as the airmass turns colder on Thursday morning, showers feeding in from the northwest may fall as snow to low levels inland.”
