Today, Wednesday will see snowfall return, and it will struggle to rise above 3 degrees, with a low tonight of just 1 degree. However, the windchill factor as gusts of 25mph or thereabouts will make it feel a lot colder.

Tomorrow, Thursday, there will be more snow and temperatures will stay depressed, with a high of just 4 degrees and a low of around 2 degrees. There will be more blustery wind, with gusts of around 23mph.

Friday and Saturday will see rain return, but the winds will remain; temperatures remain low, with the daytime high around 6 degrees and at night it won’t be much above freezing.

Sunday sees the return to icy conditions as the temperature at evening time will dip below zero, and motoring could be hazardous as winter sunshine is predicted. The snow will return on Monday.
