Website to outline ‘transition news’

A temporary website has been set up for the newly established Mid and East Antrim Council.

The authority, created by merging Larne, Carrick and Ballymena councils, will operate in shadow form until the beginning of April next year.

Available at www.midandeastantrim.gov.uk, the site was set up to communicate “important transition news and information until the full Mid and East Antrim website is developed.”

The pages carry election results from the weekend for each District Electoral Area (DEA), along with a FAQ section and area profile.
