WELB open days planned

THE Western Education and Library Board (WELB) would like to inform parents of post primary school Open Days taking place across the board area, from mid-January until mid-February 2012.

P7 pupils and their parents have an opportunity to visit post primary schools for guided tours and view facilities and different departments.

Principals will address parents/guardians and pupils at the Open Days and answer any questions they may have. The visits will assist parents/guardians and pupils in considering post primary education for September 2012. From January 2012, primary school principals will provide parents/guardians with a Transfer Form for completion, listing their child’s preferred order of school choices.
