WELB’selectricitybill of £9m
THE Western Education and Library Board (WELB) spent almost £9m on electricity over the past three years.
WELB spent £2,525,000 in 2007/8; £2,979,000 in 2008/9; and £3,224,000 in 2009/10 - a total of £8,738,000 over the period.
Education Minister Caitríona Ruane revealed the expenditure in response to an Assembly Question.
