Welcome for children's author to library

LIBRARIES NI welcomes leading children's illustrator and author, Steve Weatherill, to Ballymoney Library on Saturday 9 October, from 2.30pm – 3.15pm.

Steve, who is best known for his lovable Baby Goz character, will carry out a special interactive storytime and will create some drawings from his books.

Leah Tweed, Branch Library Manager of Ballymoney Library, explains that the event will be fun for all the family:

“Libraries NI invites families with children aged 4-10 to come along to this free author visit. As well as sparking creativity with his drawings Steve will also provide opportunity for some of the children to act out a story using costumes and props. This is a fantastic opportunity to become a ‘living book’, and all you have to do is bring your imagination!”

This session will replace that week’s usual Saturday morning Storytime.

For more information on the Steve Weatherill author visit to Ballymoney Library (Queen Street), telephone 028 2766 3589 or email [email protected]
