He was Andrew Harbinson, whose address was given as Lurgantarry, Lurgan, and he was fined £100, with a £15 offender’s levy, last Wednesday at Craigavon Magistrates Court for indecent behaviour on August 29 this year.

The court heard that at 12.50am police were dealing with a member of the public when they saw the defendant urinating on the pavement in Brownlow Terrace.

He was asked to stop but continued. There was a smell of intoxicating liquor from him and he refused to give details before attempting to run from police.

Mr Conor Downey, representing the defendant, said Harbinson was genuinely remorseful for his behaviour.

He added that his client had more than one opportunity to go on his way but did not take that advice on board.

Mr Downey said that Harbinson was a talented young sportsman who was highly regarded for his coaching of young people in the area.
