Wendy answers TV's 'Get up and Grow' call

ANOTHER local resident is set to appear on TV screens across Northern Ireland this week as part of a new gardening series.

As reported in the Times last week, Islandmagee couple Anna Eggert and Bill Rolsten featured in BBC’s Get Up and Grow programme – a show which aims to cultivate enthusiasm for gardening by blending sound advice with a dose of humour.

And the team will be returning to the Larne borough to work their magic on Ballycarry woman Wendy Carson’s front garden.

The programme is presented by award winning landscape architect Chris Beardshaw and Northern Ireland property developer and landscape gardener Colin Donaldson.

Wendy will appear in Get Up and Grow on Monday, July 26 at 7.30pm.
