What you don't nurture just cannot grow

Though it appears all hope has fled
God’s love for you ever remains
With a little faith we so quickly find
Joy emerges when sadness wanes.
Time is life, let’s spend it thankfully
Pause not to question why things are so
Rather feed your faith from day to day
What you don’t nurture just cannot grow.
Let’s always be helpful, fair and forgiving
Try to live each day as we should
Hold on to God’s word which assures us
All things are moving towards our good.
Though many hindrances we meet on the way
Let’s soldier on - His love confessing
You will overcome and gain new strength When you view each day as a blessing.
