Hillsborough Village Centre: Enjoy an evening of music at 8pm in aid of the NI Children’s Hospice. Featuring musical performances by The Patience and the Voice of the Bann singers and musicians. Entry is £8, pay at the door.

Brookfield Special School, 65 Halfpenny Gate Road, Moira, BT67 0HP: Car boot sale in school grounds to raise funds for a much needed sensory room. £5.00 for a car, £10.00 for a van. 8:00am for sellers setting up, 8:45am for buyers. Lisburn War Memorial, Castle Street: Pride of Knockmore Flute Band will be holding a Remembrance Parade and wreath laying ceremony. The parade will move off from LaganView Enterprise Centre at 7,30pm and will make its way to the War Memorial. The parade is in memory of British Soliders and Royal Irish Constabulary officers who died during the Easter Rising.

SATURDAY 30 APRIL

Magheragall Parish Church, 70 Ballinderry Road, Lisburn, BT28 2QS: Car Boot Sale starting at 10am. Breakfasts, as well as tea, coffee, scones and traybakes will be served. Everyone very Welcome.

Wallace Park: Join RSPB Lisburn for a Dawn Chorus walk. Meet at 6am at the park gates in Belsize Road for a leisurely stroll through the park to learn what birds are there and which song belongs to which bird.

Lillie Court: The Thursday Club will be holding their Annual General Meeting in Lillie Court. All interested parties are welcome to attend. The meeting will be chaired by Paul Givan MLA. This meeting is open to all. New members may wish to apply for membership after the AGM.
