Quadrangle Productions in Ballycastle are back for the summer with their yearly summer fun programme for 4 to 11 year olds.

From Monday 11th to Friday 15th July, Quadrangle Productions will take up residence in the McAlister Hall (Moyle Road) in Ballycastle to provide a jam packed programme of Arts and Crafts, Drama Games and Creative Choreography for young people aged between 4 and 11 years.

If you like Arts and Crafts then you’ll love our class which will be running from 11am to 12.30pm each day.

From 1.30 - 2.30 you can take part in our Drama Games session where we will do loads of activities to get your mixing, mingling and having a whale of time with lots of other young people your age and finally, there’s our creative choreography class which runs from 2.30 - 3.30pm.

Swap & Shop - Vision 4 Kids Swap & Shop Fashion Extravaganza is on Wednesday 6th July from 7pm – 9.30pm in Ballymoney Social Centre (donation inc refreshments). Swap 3 or more ‘as new’ fashion items (clothes, shoes, handbags or jewellery) and exchange for vouchers to ‘Shop till you drop’. Tickets or to donate items 07814062625 or 07568085803.

Table quiz - A table quiz is being held in Ballymoney United Football Club for Macmillan Cancer Unit at Antrim Area Hospital. The event will take place on Saturday, July 9 from 8 until late. Raffle and prizes.

Bus trip - Killyrammer and District Community Association are running a bus trip to Bangor on Saturday 9th July. The bus will leave Killyrammer at 9am and return at 6pm. Adults cost £7, children cost £3 and under 5’s travel free. To book a seat contact Tracey on 2766 6965 after 6pm.

Table quiz - A table quiz is being held this Saturday (July 9th) at Ballymoney Football Club.

The event will run from 8pm sharp. Admission is £3 per person. All the proceeds will go to MacMillan Cancer Unit. Everyone will be made very welcome.

Killyrammer & District Community Week begins on Monday 18th July with a treasure hunt at 7.30pm.

Entry fee for adults £2.50 and children £1. Prie money for first, second and third places.

Light refreshments served.

On Tuesday 19th there will be a quiz night in the community centre at 7.30pm.

Entry fee for adults £2.50 and children £1. Maximum six per team. Light refreshments served.

July 20th brings the judging of the gardens. Prize for first place.

On 21st there will be a sequence and old time dance at 8.30pm. Admission £4 including light refreshments.

The community week rounds off with a fantastic family fun day on 23rd from 1pm at the community centre. Fun dog show at 1.15pm. ECO Mantella with creepy crawlies, frogs and birds of prey, inflatables, pony rides, face painting, balloon modelling, mini makeovers, fitness taster and lucky dip.

Free admission. barbecue - burger and drink £2.

Car boot - Mother Goose Playgroup are holding a car boot sale on July 9th in Sheskburn House car park in Ballycastle.

Running from 12 noon - 4pm, each car is £5.

Rota Chemist - The Pharmacy will be open in the Northern area on Sunday, July 10 for urgent prescriptions: F A McCaughan, 27 Ann Street 1pm - 2pm.

Sportive - The Jack Stewart Memorial Sportive will be held on Saturday, August 6 from 1st Ballymoney Church Hall starting at 9.30am in aid of Meningitis Research Foundation.

There will be a minimum donation of £8. There will be a 45KM or 70KM routes to choose from. Please support the event by signing up from 8.45am. There will also be bqq to follow the event.

Treasue Hunt - Craiganee Accordion Band is holding a Car Treasure Hunt on Thursday, July 14. Cars are leaving Ballinlea Orange Hall from 7pm. Cost is £3pp and with refreshments and raffle on return.

BBQ - Ballymoney Royal British Legion branch are holding there annual bbq on the 8th July at 8pm in the Royal British Legion Clubrooms.

Tickets are available from branch committee members and from the upstars bar.

Music is Thomas McGuire and Fhiona Ennis. Tickets are £10.
