Wheelie bins set alight to rear of residential premises in Limavady

Police are appealing for information following the report of criminal damage to residential premises in the Glen Side Brae, Deer Park area of Limavady.

Constable Raymond Purdy said: “It was reported that at approximately 3.20am on Friday 16 December, wheelie bins were deliberately ignited at the rear of a residential premises. There was no one in the premises at the time and therefore no injuries.

“We are appealing to anyone that may have any information or to anyone that may have witnessed any suspicious activity in the area to contact Limavady Police Station on the non-emergency number 101, quoting reference 117 on 16/12/16.”
