When Eddie met Alex the day the One Show rode into town

There’s usually only “one show” in town in Armoy but last week local celebrity Eddie McLean met up with the host of BBC’s One Show!

Presenters Alex Jones and Matt Baker were taking part in a Children in Need Rickshaw Challenge round the UK to raise funds.

Alex and Matt were pleased to meet Eddie who, in his postman’s role, hand-delivered them an Armoy Christmas card.

Eddie collected the signed card from St Olcan’s Primary School and then it was a quick dash to ‘The Lagge School’ to join up with The Rickshaw Challenge.

It’s hard to know who has more fans in Armoy - Eddie or Alex and Matt?
