When there’s no light, let faith shine brighter

To maintain a winning attitude is so much better

Than losing heart or looking back,

Quite often we cannot change what happened

But we can control how we react.

When there’s no light let faith shine brighter,

Doubts and fears drag us down a degree,

If you keep your face towards the sunshine

Then the shadow you won’t see.

There’s a blue patch way out yonder,

Keep on with confidence and find

The Shepherd’s love has never failed you,

Let His blessings fill your mind.

Each new morn is a gift from Heaven,

Take a little time to draw apart,

To place all things into God’s keeping,

Then carry on with a confident heart.
