Whitehead parade and service to remember the fallen

Members of the Whitehead and Islandmagee community braved the elements on a very wet and windy Remembrance Sunday.

The tribute to those who made the ultimate sacrifice in theatres of conflict began with a parade from Whitehead Community Centre.

Whitehead branch of the Royal British Legion was joined by representatives from range of organisations for the commemoration which included a service at the town’s war memorial, where Rev Mark Taylor read the list of the names of the fallen.
