It's the time of year again where we set ourselves New Year resolutions and goals to achieve for 2010 and one thing that many of us wish we had the capability of doing is using a computer!

Computers are everywhere today and whether you need to learn more about them for your own personal use, business or to help learn basic skills to help find employment, Computer Learn at the Acorn Centre in Ballymoney is here to help you with a wide variation of classes that teach you what you want to learn!

Based in the spacious and comfortable I.T. Suite within the Acorn Centre, you will be able to come to a course that will suit both what you need to learn and when you need to learn it!

All classes can be attended once a week either on Tuesday or Thursday evenings from 7pm-8.30pm or if evenings are inconvenient, Monday or Wednesday afternoons 2pm-3.30pm all upon your own request!

Computer Learn classes will be taken by the proprietor of Computer Learn.. Elvin Cochrane. Elvin specialises in all areas of tuition using computers and some examples of classes offered include beginner classes, advanced user classes to more diverse tuition including buying and selling online using eBay, keeping your own accounts using spreadsheets in Excel, creating presentations using PowerPoint to learning Music Production from your own home PC!

Elvin says: "Many people complain about some courses being very long and being very complicated when in fact all they want to learn is how to use a computer in an easy and error free way! If you are a complete beginner then the small Introduction course will be excellent, learning you everything you need to know from turning on your computer to basic typing of letters, using the Internet and Email.

"If you already know the basics and want to learn more about using other programs.. Spreadsheets for financial or stock information, PowerPoint for creating slideshows/presentations or how to buy and sell online using eBay with the best tips and full account setups available… whatever it may be that you want to learn, just ask!"
