WI ladies get a taste of Elvis

The annual dinner of Coleraine Women’s Institute was held in Portstewart Golf Club last Monday.

Members were welcomed warmly by the President Kathleen Presha, who asked Betty Jennings to say the WI version of ‘grace’ and then everyone enjoyed a delicious dinner.

The entertainment for the evening was none other than Elvis, aka Andy Rodgers, ably accompanied by Ray Jackson.

The ladies had a great time singing and some dancing to the music.

The competition was a golfing joke was won by Willa Robinson with Marina Reid and Caroline Kimber runners up.

The birthday girl was Margaret Thompson. The fun evening ended with ladies singing the Country Women’s Song...to Elvis.
