WI members go back in time
President, Janette Graham welcomed members to their November meeting.
The speaker for the evening was John Moore who gave a fascinating talk on the ‘Changing Face of Portrush – 1860 to Present Day’. With a fantastic collection of photographs he was able to illustrate the changes.
The competition, ‘A Portrush Limerick’ was won by Mary Edgar, second Margaret McCullough, third Janette Graham. Birthday girl was Eileen McCreanor.
Supper was served and the meeting ended with A Countrywoman’s Song.
