The boys are pitted against the girls in the episode in a race to create a range of frozen treats.

Six girls and six boys, aged between 16 and 17, will duke it out for Lord Sugar’s approval in the boardroom and a potential £25,000 prize fund if they can prove that they are a business tycoon of tomorrow.

And James will give them all a run for their money with both brains and business attitude.

The Loreto student attained the highest score in GCSE economics in the north this year. He is studying for A Levels in English, Economics, Spanish and Biology.

Describing himself as a risk-taker, James says he always follows his gut instinct and feels he is a natural businessman. He is a massive football fan and lists his passion as economics.

Already James has come out with a classic Apprentice line, saying: “When winning gets in the way of integrity, integrity goes out the window”.
