Wilma
reveals
solution to ‘web’ issue

A BALNAMORE woman has revealed she experienced the same ‘web’ problem as revealed in last week’s issue of the Times.

Our story concerned the strange spider-like web on a tree and part of a hedge on the Kilraughts Road and we asked if anyone could she any light on the problem.

Wilma McAleese said her Hawthorn hedge had a similar covering some eight years ago and she then rang Greenmount College in Antrim to find out what was the cause of it.

“They said it was a moth issue but recommended I use a solution called Dipterex 80 which did the trick. I think it only cost me about £20,” Wilma said.

BBC Newsline brought the story to a wider audience last week.
