Wilson attends Milk Cup launch

Mid and East Antrim councillor Andrew Wilson has attended the launch of the Milk Cup in his role as chairman of the Operational Committee.

The Ulster Unionist representative said: “The Milk Cup will be a great occasion when it kicks off this summer, with matches taking place in our new council area. I look forward to watching quality football from teams that span five continents and include world renowned clubs like Real Sociedad, Liverpool and Glasgow Rangers.

“County Antrim have had very good results in recent seasons at the tournament and expectations will be high for them to put in yet another excellent performance. There is also a local connection to the Co. Antrim team, with 3 former Greenisland Boys players being selected for the Premier squad this season.”
