Wilson isnew CCGC Deputy Mayor

The new Deputy Mayor of the Causeway Coast and Glens Council will be Ballymoney’s UUP Cllr

He said he was “absolutely delighted” with the “humbling experience” of being selected and nominated by his peers in the first year of his first term as a councillor.

Cllr Wilson begins his official duties today (April 1st) assisting the new Mayor, Coleraine DUP’s Michelle 
Knight-McQuillan.

“Michelle will do a great job and I look forward to working with her,” said Darryl who is married to Emma and is dad to Rebecca and Beth.

“I will approach the role with enthusiasm and take an honest, hard-working approach. I hope to represent everyone in Causeway Coast and Glens to the best of my ability to make it a better place for everyone to live.”
