Wilson reappointed Finance Minister

Speaking following his appointment, the Minister said: “Firstly, I would like to say how pleased I am to be back as the Finance Minister. I look forward to getting down to business and carrying on the work that was started from my last term in post.

“The budget that we set out for the next four years fulfils a commitment that we look after the community, continue to grow our economy and provide the necessary support to local businesses and key stakeholders.”

“As the Finance Minister I will be working hard to deliver on that commitment, however, there is also a collective responsibility on us all to effectively manage our budget pressures - this in itself will be one of the biggest challenges that lies ahead and faces the term of this new Executive and new Assembly.”
