From July 1 to July 10, the final year of the summer school with Bruiser Theatre Company reaches a conclusion, with a performance combining text and physical theatre techniques.
There are still a few places up for grabs, for more information contact Sharon Kirk on 7032 3037 or email [email protected].
The course itself specialises in physical theatre and the skills of Commedia dell'Arte, a stylized form of drama, in which the movements and gestures of each character denote a fool, a thief, a master etc.

Artistic Director Lisa May has developed a very specialized and easily accessible style of drama, taking complex scripts and adapting them to the physical theatre style.
She regularly works on productions for other companies and recently won "Woman of the Year in the Arts" Award from the Belfast Telegraph.
It is a huge coup for Riverside that she will instruct the participants herself in this final year of the Summer School programme
