Even if you are not lucky enough to scoop this super prize then there is still a great value for money day of motoring magic and fantastic entertainment on offer at the Car Fest and Truck Show which takes place on June 13 at Ballee. The petrolheads behind Ulster’s premier car and truck show have teamed up with McBurney Transport, a family firm with deep roots in the Mid-Antrim community which is celebrating no less than 50 years on the road this year to make this year’s event biger and better than ever.

Over the years, the show has raised no less than £106,000 has been raised for Macmillan Cancer Support.

Common sense advice is to make your plans to attend right away because if previous shows are anything to go by, the turn-out from the Northrn Ireland public will be massive!

Visitors to this year’s festival will also be treated to the biggest ever ‘Live Action Arena’ in the show’s history with three massive live acts performing - Mattie Griffin Stunt Rider, Savage Skills and the return of high flyers Broke FMX, sponsored by Greers of Antrim and Evans Waterless Coolant.

But it’s nst just about horsepower!

There will be a chance to marvel at the awesome physical strength of the competitors in ‘4 Nations Strongman’ tournament which leads to a place on the Strongman’s Champions League, sponsored by The Country Garage.

Also making a guest appearance will be UK’s strongest man Eddie Hall.

A live stage will be bursting with live bands, dancers and acts to entertain visitors all day, including James Duke from BBC’s The Voice & Country star Boxcar Brian.
