Rasharkin theft

A TRAILER was stolen from a yard at Gortahar Road, Rasharkin, some time from the afternoon of Sunday June 12 in to June 13.

Purse stolen

Police received a report a black coloured purse was stolen from the kitchen of a house at Agherton Park, Ballymoney, between 4.30pm on Monday June 13 and 1pm on Tuesday June 14. Police are appealing for information on 08456008000 or phone Crimestoppers 0800555111.

Vehicles damaged

police are investigating a link between two incidents when damage was caused to vehicles at Kirkview Place, Ballymoney.

On Wednesday June 15, paintwork was scored on a black Seat Ibiza parked outside the owner’s home and at 4pm on Thursday June 16, police received a report a Peugeot 307 car was scratched.

Business burgled

POLICE are investigating a burglary in the early hours of Friday June 17 at a garden centre on Ballymoney’s Greenhill Road.

A window was smashed and cash stolen from an office. The PSNI believe those responsible may have made off on foot across the nearby Ballymoney by-pass and want to hear from anyone who saw suspicious activity or saw anybody walking in the area between 12.30am and 1.30am to get in touch on 08456008000 or phone Crimestoppers 0800555111.

Man in court

A 31-YEAR-OLD man was arrested on Friday on suspicion of carrying out a theft from a shop in the Ballymoney area and appeared at court in Ballymena on Saturday.

Town incident

A 21-YEAR-OLD man will be reported to the Public Prosecution Service in relation to an alleged incident of disorderly behaviour following an incident on Saturday night in Ballymoney, police said.

Hospitalised

POLICE say a man was hospitalised with facial injuries after being assaulted at Linenhall Street, Ballymoney, in the early hours of Sunday.

Police believe there were at least five other people present. A 28-year-old man was arrested for alleged possession of an offensive weapon and disorderly behaviour and was released on bail to June 30.

Dunloy arrest

A 28-YEAR-OLD man was arrested in the early hours of Monday June 20 at Anticur Road, Dunloy, on suspicion of driving with excess alcohol. He was released on bail to August 8.

Disturbance
