Windows on the Past project workshops

During Remembrance week a series of workshops will take place in Cathedral Youth Club from 7pm and 9pm each evening.

The workshops will get underway on Wednesday, November 5.

The topics that will be undertaken during the week will include research on cultural identity, history, and genealogy, and there will be special emphasis on residents from The Fountain.

In addition, slide show presentations will highlight each topic.

“The workshops are a vital part of the ‘Generations Walking Together Peace 111 Programme’ and will be delivered by two well-known local men, musician Jim Arbuckle and historian Trevor Temple,” said Jeanette Warke.
