Woman (83) left badly shaken by burglary
AN 83-year-old Cullybackey woman has been left badly shaken after thieves stole jewellery, including an engagement ring, from her Ballymena Road home.
Police received a report of the burglary shortly after 12.30am this morning (Thursday).
The 83-year-old, who was in the house at the time of the incident, was left badly shaken, but not injured.

Hide AdTwo of the items taken included a gold engagement ring and gold watch given to the woman by her late husband.
A police spokesperson said that enquiries are continuing and appealed for the safe return of the jewellery
