Woman charged over rioting
A CARRICK woman has appeared in court in connection with rioting following last week’s flag protests.
Laura Nicholl, 20, of Unity Street faces charges of riotous behaviour, assaulting a female police officer and resisting arrest during last Wednesday night’s disturbances in the town centre.
She was released on bail to appear again before Belfast Magistrates Court on January 17.
