Woman charged with assaulting police officers

A 37-year-old woman has been charged with a series of offences including assaults on police and damaging a dog bowl and gate.

Kerry Francis Malone, Kenlis Place, Banbridge, appeared in the dock last Thursday at the local magistrates’ court.

The charges against her allege that on September 11 this year she attempted to destroy a window, damaged a dog bowl and gate, assaulted two police officers, was disorderly at Kenlis Place and assaulted a female.

A police officer said she believed she could connect the accused with the charges.

A barrister representing Malone asked for an adjournment to take instructions from his client.

Malone was remanded on her own bail of £500 and is to appear again in court on October 20.
