Woman charged with drunk driving
A Lisburn woman appeared at the local Magistrate’s Court this week charged with disorderly behaviour, resisting police and driving with excess alcohol in her blood.
The court heard that on April 20, Julie Ann Morris, 34, of Old School Yard, used disorderly behaviour on Hillhall Road, resisted a constable and drove a motor vehicle when over the legal alcohol limit.
Morris pleaded guilty to the charge of drink driving but pleaded not guilty to the other charges.
District Judge Rosie Watters set September 22 as the date for the other two charges to be contested.
