Woman charged with threatening to damage property

AN Ahoghill woman has appeared in court charged with threatening to endanger another woman's life by damaging her property.

Louise Stewart (33), of Belgrano, is alleged to have made the threat to damage property at Toomebridge on February 20.

Stewart is further accused of assaulting the woman and damaging a pair of glasses and three photo frames belonging to her on the same date.

Stewart’s case was adjourned until April 29, at Ballymena Magistrates Court, after a PPS prosecutor said there was “a bit of background” between the two parties which would require further investigation.
